NRES 310: Wildlife Ecology and Management

Prerequisites: Biology 191

Course description:  Introduction of ecological principles related to conservation and management of wildlife.  Application of habitat relationships, population ecology, and behavioral ecology of wildlife species for effective conservation and management. 

Course goals:  Students will develop an understanding of ecological principles and management considerations pertaining to wildlife ecology, develop competency in interpreting and communicating research findings to peers and lay audiences, and enhance skills in communication and critical thinking. 

Course includes mandatory field trips.
