Prospective students should send me the following information, in the event that funding becomes available:  1) cover letter that includes a description of your research interests and career goals; 2) your curriculum vitae (preferred) or resume; 3) transcripts (unofficial is okay initially); 4) GRE scores if applying for a graduate position (unofficial is okay initially); and 5) names and contact information for 3 references. http://www.ss.unr.edu/apply.

Several students work with me in my research.  Arica Crootof is a M.S. student in Hydrology who is a Teaching Assistant for the small watershed hydrology course.  She is also studying the surface water resources and associated aquatic ecosystems of the Amu Darya and several small lakes in the Khorezm region.  Nick Grant is a M.S. student in Hydrology who is studying the feasibility of instrumenting wildlife guzzlers to enhance precipitation and hydrologic data collection in Nevada. Jasmine Vittori is a M.S. student in Environmental Science who is combining tree ring-derived precipitation with mechanistic watershed modeling to produce and analyze 2000 years of streamflows. Kayla Berry is a M.S. student in Hydrogeology who is doing a survey of water managers to understand collaborative water management. There are also undergraduates who work in my lab:  Rob Engel (Ecohydrology) and Nalin Howard (Chemical Engineering).  I have one research associate, Lisa Atwell Holan, who works with me on a number of different projects.
