Wood Chip in the Sierras Reno/Tahoe Biomass Supply/Demand Study
Biomass (plant-derived material) is one of our most important energy resources. Biomass use strengthens rural economies, decreases America's dependence on imported oil, reduces air and water pollution, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. This project will address the barriers/constraints to "utility" scale and locally owned biomass power development, leading to increased bio-energy awareness through outreach in two state region of Nevada and California.  Read More...
