Bachelor of Science - Agricultural Science
The Program
The B.S. in Agricultural Science is one of the newest and most exciting programs
at the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources at UNR. The major
provides students with current professional training in the business, management,
economics, and production of agricultural systems. The goal of the agricultural
science major is to educate students who can compete successfully for agricultural-related
jobs throughout the world. The major emphasizes agriculture systems and their associated
economics by covering the interrelationships among soils, plants, animals, weeds,
insects, diseases, economics, and other components of agricultural systems.
