Welcome Current and Prospective Students

The commitment to teaching is a hallmark of Animal Biotechnology by grounding our programs in the realities of everyday life. Through our academic curriculum and the delivery of our services, we offer students practical solutions to their needs for advancement and growth. Students are encouraged to form close working relationships with faculty, which may include engaging in innovative research projects.

A defining feature of a Animal Biotechnology education is the emphasis on independent work. Students, particularly in their junior and senior years, have the opportunity to pursue original research and scholarship on topics of their own choice under the guidance of faculty advisers.
