Molecular Techniques in Management, Restoration, and Conservation

The goals of this course: 
    (1) to become fluent in the language and concepts of molecular techniques and analyses commonly used in ecological and evolutionary research; (2) to be confident in choosing a genetic approach for your own research. 

Meetings: 
    Once a week for 2 hours.  Grade based on: (1) participation, (2) presentations, (3) leading discussions.  Everyone fills two slots, but at least one must be a presentation.  Presentation slots in gray below, the other slots are for leading discussions.  For presentations, we will provide a list of topics to be covered.

When & Where:
    Our regular time will be 1:10 - 3:00 on Thursdays.  Our room is 103 KRC (at Valley Road).  When doing presentations, you can either bring a lap top or memory stick to plug into the computer in the room.
