    The Rangeland Ecology section of Ecological Society of America has been dedicated to education along with research and application since its inception. A majority of its more than 7,600 members are engaged in some form of teaching, public outreach and/or training.  The overall goals of the  education activities are to increase the diversity of the ecology-related professions and to improve the quality of ecology education at all levels.
