Wildlife Ecology and Conservation
Conserving wildlife and wildlife habitat puts students of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation in a field that emphasizes wildlife biology and conservation based on ecological principles. Students take a broad range of courses in population and dynamics, habitat restoration and management, wildlife ecology and conservation biology.
Maintaining biodiversity through conservation and management is a focus of this program. This major provides students with the tools needed to take a scientific approach in addressing wildlife management issues.
Upon graduating, students can expect to work for government agencies, private consulting firms and non-profit organizations.
