The Cast and Blast Outdoors Club

The University of Nevada's Cast and Blast Outdoors Club is a club for any student who has a passion for the outdoors, hunting, or fishing.  Our members are young adults working to preserve our hunting and fishing legacy, as well as contributing to the outdoors in ways that will allow us to enjoy them or years to come.

Members have opportunities to do volunteer work with resource management agencies (state and federal), including guzzler repairs, and big and small game captures and releases.  We have also been privileged to do volunteer work with sportsman’s organizations throughout the state of Nevada.  Other club activities consist of camping, fishing, hunting trips, trap shoots, archery contests, and barbeques.

Cast and Blast is in their second year as a club and we look forward to new possibilities in volunteer work and club functions.  The club has meetings twice a month, anyone is welcome. Membership requires that you have a valid Nevada hunting and/or fishing license.
